The Effect of Belief

Curses and spells depend on the belief of the recipient to work. If you do not believe in the power of a curse, it will not affect you. However, our minds have an immediate and powerful effect on our bodies. Even if you do not believe that a curse or spell will hurt you, you are bound to think about it, and this may have an effect on your body. Consequently, you should take steps to protect yourself, even if you do not believe in the power of the curse or spell.

I know two people who were psychically attacked by a neighbor who objected to the number of pets they had. Justin and Phil are partners in an accountancy practice, and are partners in life also. After a series of confrontations with their neighbor, Justin became ill and became convinced that it was the result of a psychic attack. His pendulum confirmed this to be the case, and also identified the neighbor as the perpetrator. However, Phil did not seem to be affected at all.

During another argument over the fence, the neighbor cursed them both. Justin, who had already been affected by the psychic attack, became depressed and put himself to bed, convinced that he was going to die a slow and painful death. Phil laughed at the curse, but despite his disbelief, began suffering severe headaches. Although he did not believe in the power of the curse, or in the other psychic attacks, his mind kept thinking about it. This ultimately affected his body and created the headaches.
